0! is 1 because using the formula nCr where your r=0 will give you give you the same value of n which will divide itself to give you 1. E.g
n!/(n-r)!0!
So let n=2 and r=0 then,
2!/(2-0)!0!
=2!/2!=1

can we do it like this?
(a+b)^-3 = 1 / (a^3 + 3a^2b + 3ab^2 + b^3)
if not
where we are breaking rule of mathematics.

Sir if this is what factorial means why is it that in one of your video you said 100! /98! Will be 100×98!/98!.
So the question is it why not 100×99×98! ?
