@TheNaa18 You could. Try it. You should get the same answer. However, I wouldn't as you should really only use the quotient rule if you have a function of x on the top and a function of x on the bottom.

You say dont use the quotient rule if u dont have a fucnction of x at the top... however, in another question you used it when 1 was a numerator
