Identifying Graph Shaped Problems

Graph databases are an excellent choice for storing and querying your connected data. They allow you to store information in a logical and complementary way that’s reflective of the domain you’re working in. However, when faced with the questions you’re looking to answer, it may not be immediately obvious that what you’re looking at is a graph question.

In this session we will show you tips and tricks for identifying graph-shaped problems.

This webinar is for everybody who wants or needs to learn how to spot certain structures in their data and understand if the data you are working with lends itself to working with a graph.

To summarise: we analyse the use of the data in the workflow and if it's used in relation of other data - we use graphs

I think this helped me a lot so that one day, when I meet a graph shaped problem, I'll hopefully recognize it. Probably not a video for everyone but perfect for me at this time.😊

very useful for beginners but I hope people give some real scenarios, real traditional hard way of solving those problems, and their new innovative simple solutions. for example in that supply chain scenario showing how it could be done in SQL (with a real nerdy yet sophisticated solution) and at the end the simple graph way (e.g in cypher). why I say that because I can relate. yes, that problem is hard to be solved, the SQL solution is at least a good solution if not the best, and wow how simple is that in cypher. now I'm going to use graphs.
