I agree about your application. I go to a small local church on Sundays with my mom and when I first came home to Yahuah (God) and Yahusha (Jesus), I used to enjoy going. This last year I think the holy spirit got me to start reading scripture for my own and fortunately guided me to your channel and four other youtubers who have helped me learn the word as well. I find myself not wanting to go to the church anymore as I just feel like it's entertainment and I am not learning anymore. My mom has made friends there so I still go every other Sunday because I want to follow the commandment of honor thy mother and father, but it's kind of tough to sit through it because I honestly question if the people that go there truly go there to learn or if it's just a social hang-out club. Nothing wrong with making friends, but I get a lot of lukewarm vibes and my church doesn't want to be set apart like The Bible tells us to be in my opinion.

Love the emphasis of unity and devotion as a church! Thanks. A question, does repentance and baptism result in forgiveness of sins and gaining holy spirit? (Acts 2:38). There are many other passages mentioning forgiveness of sins so not sure how to fit this together?

Can you clearly see they were told what to do to be saved, Acts 2:38 and when they did they were added to the church by the Lord? Acts 2:47
