today we talk about the controversy that revolves the TikTok star Dolly, who created a video of her walking infront of a wild fire. This made a bunch of people speculate that she started a wild fire to promote a fashion brand. "This Tiktoker started a forest fire" became the narrative.

Apparently it is common practice for locals to start really small fires to scare away dangerous animals in some areas.
But, the fire in her video was not along the motorway as she claims in her response. She actually started a fire in a National Park. She's 100% paying a poor farmer to take the blame and the poor guy probably doesn't even understand what he's admitting to.

If they didn’t start the fire…then what person’s first thought when they see WILDFIRE is “photo shoot time!” Like, wtf? She wouldn’t have been wearing the sponsor’s dress unless they were already planning the shot!

As someone that lives in California… where we woke up one day in 2020 and the sky was orange for days because of all the fires that were going on.( none of those photos are photoshop, the sky was actually orange day and night). I hope she at least gets put in jail.

EXCUSEEE ME: people know setting a fire doesn’t just affect that one place, but they don’t realize how FAST a fire spreads. They think “we’ll just have a bucket of water handy”. A controlled fire could have been easily organized with firefighters and combined with areas that needed to be burned away anyway. Disgusting.

To be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if she paid someone to take the fall for her. Not saying she did, just agreeing that she is rich enough that it could be a thing.

If she's evil enough to start a fire then she's totally evil enough to pay some farmer thousands of dollars to take the fall. It's clear that she and her team don't fully grasp the consequences of this and I really hope legal action gets taken. So many plants and animals have now burned to death for one stupid video.

i got ptsd from wildfires that’s happened in my country and i’m getting stressed just by watching this
the influencers and some celebrities here were actively helping in field with firemen and through their social media accounts for supplies needed for volunteers and ect.
it’s sad to see an “influencer” taking part in a such act. i hope the fires will be put out as soon as possible.

They definitely started it. What they saw it left spent hours doing hair and makeup etc then came back? Gtfo. They thought it would look good and started it then couldn't put it out or thought it would burn out.
