The Borderlands, released in the United States as Final Prayer, is a 2013 British found-footage horror film written and directed by Elliot Goldner, in his directorial debut. It had its world premiere on 24 August 2013 at the London FrightFest Film Festival and centers upon a group of Vatican investigators researching an old church rumored to be the site of a miracle.

Hands down the most cruel ending you could ever ask for in a horror movie (and I've seen Martyrs).

At the ending of the movie is where they go in this entity mouth and you see this thing eating them and I believe this entity is a worm or a snake because it has the ability to camouflage it self as the ground

Phenomenal film. I first heard about it online a couple of months ago and found it streaming. I was hooked from the beginning. It's a slow burn for sure, but everything is set up as the film progresses and repeat viewings reveal the hints as to what it going on. I love horror and have seen hundreds of horror films over the years, but the ending to this one was a genuine surprise, possibly the most surprising to any film I've seen. I found the Second Sight Blu Ray and will enjoy this one every year.

I thought I’d seen this..but then when you started taking about it, and I saw the clips of the trailer..I guess not! I will check it out though, sounds cool. The guy with the beard looks has been in tv shows over here in the U.K. for decades, a lot of comedy (he used to be in a Scottish sketch comedy show called Absolutely, which in my memory was pretty nuts 😂…) so I can see some comedic beats working well if he’s in it..and the combination of static cameras and head cams sounds cool

I love the horror genre off of supernatural spookiness...am trying to tie what was happening at the end to the whole Catholic-Pagan thing...to me, it appeared like Deacon and Gray were being digested in an intestine. I could be wrong and misunderstood but was hoping to get some clarity please.
