Another videogame to movie adaptation and written by Craig Mazin (The Last of Us, Chernobyl) and Eli Roth (also directing) starring Jack Black as Claptrap and Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart and more. Very Guardians of the galaxy meets S Squad style film I should think.

Reshoots were directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool)

"Test screenings prompted reshoots" is a worrying sentence. Either the movie was initially bad or the new version will be a watered down version of what it was.

I don't trust test screening audiences at ALL. 💀

I'm all for a borderlands movie. But Eli Roth my guys? We're targeting that direct-to-DVD quality right out of the gates. And my girl Cait Blanchet is waaay too old for Lilith. She could play mad moxi though.

If they stick to the game it should be successful. If they do anything other than that game its not gonna work. I feel like everyone playing a big role here need to even complete BL1 and BL2. At the VERY least. Kevin Hart is totally capable of playing Roland. Roland alwYs had a serious domainer but some sarcasm too. Even Jack Black playing CL4T Jack Black tries to sound like the robot itll be an instant classic. Not too excited about who is planning Tannis. I saw Tannis as a nerd on the streets but a bady in the sheets. Now that ive had Jamie Lee Curtis's face on her that "standing offer" from Borderlands 2 doesn't hit the same 😂
And the lady playing Lilith can handle the character as she sees fit she just has to have a long neck 😂. Im glad they maintained that Lilith was a rehead. Cant wait to see the FX like the shields taking damage or Lilith phase walking.
