A farewell song for my cow - Ancient Swedish Herdingcall

So, another summer have passed. The green fields are turning yellow, and it's time for my cow Stjärna to go back to the farm during the winter. The farm is located in a village 15 km from here, so I will of course come and visit her.

Every evening this summer I sang songs for her and brought some treats. She is so friendly and adorable.
This was the last night with Stjärna, before she went back. I called for her and as always she came running. Then I sat there singing for her and watched her until the sun went down.
I will miss her, so very much.

This is my farewell song for Stjärna. I also played a little "nyckelharpa" (the oldest swedish instrument) at the end of the song. An instrument that I try to learn right now.

Cows are incredible intelligent and loving.
I lived outside of the city near a river and there are lots of fields around where the cows eat grass. In the summers when I drove to work with my bike I would stop by and give them sliced apples, one cow then started to wait near the fence every morning and if she wasnt there she would run towards me once she saw me. That was really awesome and I also asked the farmer if I could go to them he was happy that I was interested in them, I could pet them and they were really cute because after I came there a few times to pet them the one cow started to "cuddle" with me (she rubbed her head and snout against me and would lie down on in the grass with me).
What I find even more amazing, the same cow still recognizes me, even after 5 years where I didn't see her for 2 years in a row, when I got to the fence this summer for the first time again she ran towards me but was kind of jumping with her back legs. I obviously brought her some apple slices again.
I really love cows, I wish I could go there more often again but I live in the opposite side outside the city now so I can't visit her as often anymore.
