I've watched the "Black turtleneck" clip before and noticed how often Cruise uses "either-or" figures of speech, so this time I counted. In about 9 minutes he used one 7 times, or on an average of about every minute and 12 seconds. "Do or not do", "do it or be afraid", "on board or not on board", "just wish or do something", "happy or not happy", "in or out", "on the playing field or out of the arena." There might be more I missed. Anyway, I feel like that's a dead give-away of the inflexible, black and white thinking Scientologists are forced into if they expect to stay affiliated. There's no allowance for human differences and no room for questions...just the grip of the cult. Can't even say like it or leave it, as they won't let you just leave, either.

I think Tom Cruise did introduce Scientology to a lot of people. I was a recent immigrant and a teen at the time so I never heard of scientology until Tom Cruise started jumping on couches. And after I did learn about Scientology from Tom I immediately decided I wanted nothing to do with it 😂
