Today I want to talk about how the lack of purpose created a society of wage slavery. That is the reason we are wage slaves today. Its not some dark capitalism thing. Its a philosophical and existential paradox. and I think the solution is a form a essentialism. What is the point it all? is it materialism? Or is there something more to life? Lets find out.

The modern 9-5 life is nothing less than soft core slavery. I'm not lazy, I am all about hard work - but being owned and controlled by some company is soul crushing.

Wage slavery definitely destroys the spirit of a person happiness.

So glad so many are questioning this, especially as the system is buckling and providing less than it did for other generations

We are all born into this hell we are told: “we ought to be grateful” for the opportunity, that’s some bull.

Bro you’re 100% correct. It’s called chattel enslavement. Government owned slaves. They teach in school how to be a complying slave.

It doesn't help that they built in inflation to make your money worth less every year, causing an increase cost of living. So the irony is that you have to work harder every year for the same or even diminished standard of living. All of your work and productivity is actually stolen by the rich. So even if you don't want to participate in consumer capitalism, you still have ever increasing costs and nobody knows how much you need to retire. That way we'll stay in a perpetual state of fear of not having enough causing us to constantly work harder. Designed by the rich, for the rich.

I'm in a decent financial position yet my property taxes are going up again, 8 percent. And I calculated that at this rate, they will be $10, 000 a year by the time I'm 55. It's ludicrous. It's literally stolen wealth. Everything in place is designed to steal wealth from the people and give it to the rich.

I think real wealth is having the ability to manage your time as you please. I work at a pretty well paying job, but I barely even take 3 weeks off per year. In this situation I have realized im just a wage slave.

Its hard to enjoy every day life when you know your working day will be just as soul crushingly dull and tedious as it was yesterday and that your too damned tired and depressed to do anything afterwards. I want this hell we call life to simply end and if i wasnt such a coward i would of ended it years ago. Nicely shot video btw.

One worker in 1920 could support a large family. The wife and mother stayed in the home and raised the children and created a "home". Today, it takes two adults and even some of the grown children working to support a life style of much less quality. The "system" is slowly but surely tightening the screws every year.

This should be illegal. Imagine the amount of labour from generations of people to just deliver to one exact family or person is crazy. We are just work drones, guys. We work untilwe die. and If we die, nothing happens. Unlike the people at the top. They own us.

I’ve never enjoyed a job I’ve worked in my life and I’ve accept that it’s probably unlikely that I ever will. It sounds depressing but you learn to appreciate the finer things in life.

Most people can’t even tell you when was the last time you remember what the feeling of the ground feels like as you are walking? We are so busy fixated on things that don’t really matter.

I gave up on the American dream in 1990 because of modern day slavery

The reality is, previous generations had more purpose because their 'jobs' such as farming and hunting were crucial to survival of the civilization. Nowadays, most workers fill the void of purpose with materialism which is an artificial feeling. We've become the rough draft of an A.I. workforce.

I knew a guy who's father wanted to be a football player (I asked why his dad was so miserable all the time) an accident caused him to hurt himself and he lost the ability to play. Really makes you think on why so many people are miserable. Mostly cause they never got to see their dreams through.

I learned this over 40 years ago and decided that I would not work for others. I was able to start my own business and only work when I felt like it.
I found that I had more money, more freedom and more self respect. I own my own home and have no debts. I have traveled overseas and even lived in China for a while.
Not only are people wage slaves, they don't realise that we are all living on a prison planet with only the perception of freedom.

In my late teens and early 20’s, i procrastinated in school and tried hard to be an entrepreneur.

Got to a point where i needed to pay bills and move out, buy a car so i can go to work to pay my bills. I became a wage slave.

This. Life is to be lived. Enjoyed. Not feel miserable and trapped.
