That is so true!...BUT---- if only a lot of the young Black people - knew how to read! Just go into the prisons & you can see so many that cannot read - so therefore cannot do written communication. A lot of states stopped teaching cursive in schools - yrs. ago. Some are graduating - but don't know how to read! This has been going on for decades too & Its nothing new! Black parents need to KNOW - that their kids can read- not think because they graduated -they can! I know some of our ancestors are turning over in their graves - they weren't allowed to learn to read & write. A change has got to come---
