"Dating and mating has become the newest drug, it's how we escape from taking responsibility for our emotional health." He said a lot of good things in this video.

Women don’t settle. Give monogamy and expect no less! Nothing worst than sharing someone who should honor you and you alone. You are worthy!

I've never watched a 3 and a half hour ANYTHING, but this interview was one of the best I ever watched. Absolutely phenomenal!!! I couldn't stop watching. I love, love, love Dr. Umar!

If a woman does not have a child by a certain age, that does not mean she has suffered some kind of trauma. I chose not to be a single mother, therefore, I had to be married. Since I never married, I do not have children. I also have friends that have married, and have chosen NOT to have children. Not everyone should have children.

I agree with Dr Umar, I'm a beautiful dark skinned black woman and I have experienced being overlooked by men because I'm darked skinned. Therefore growing up I told myself that I will marry only a light skinned man so that my children will not be overlooked I confessed that to my children and they were shocked and they showed empathy. Thank God I'm delivered from thinking that way.

My mother married a white man when I was in a third grade. I am now 56 and that man has been the best thing that ever could’ve happened to me and my children he has truly been a father and a grandfather and every sense of the word.

I'm American. I found my love in Jamaica. Kind, vulnerable, and hard-working. Never been happier. 🙌

"Rather be single" is not a lie for many. Women telling you this and you dismissing it or not believing it is problematic.

Whew, Chile. This man hit so many things on the nail. This man helped me understand and overstand the breakdown and the destruction of blk men and wmn. Some men and women not going to like what he said, but he spoke many facts. Protect this man at all costs. Drop the 🎤

I love these conversations because it’s the type of talking we should be engaged in as opposed to nonsense that adds no value to our quality of life.

Thank you HI and Dr. Umar! I’m sending this to my friend so he can “grow” as a 70 year old. I have written 2 books that support some of this conversation: Making Sense of Today and My Child, Our Future. Keep up the good work!!!
