The fact that Lotus is still around and this car exists is fantastic. Great cinematography too.

I live in the desert southwest of America, where sunshine and beautiful roads are easy to find. Yet Henry and Carfection manage to do something I don't expect. They make me want to drive down a cold, rainy road in Scotland or Wales.

A big thanks to Henry and Carfection - it’s films like this that empty my head of the clutter. I’m not here for consumer advice, I’m here for an automotive spa day and I’m never disappointed.

Brilliant storytelling as ever, Henry. The music, the shots and your inimitable style - truly a breath of fresh air.

It still amazes me everyday that we have content like this available to us free of charge. What a beautifully produced film. Well done, guys!

I really like this car because I feel like it's trying to keep the magic of old cars alive in the modern era 🙌🏻 Also, those shots from 13:50 all the way to the end are just pure art ❤️

Another top notch review Henry. I prefer road trip, real world reviews as opposed to track reviews as the scenery adds another dimension. In 2013 I visited the UK and a must do visit to Jim's museum in Duns. Cheers from Australia.

Another great video Henry. This reminds me of an article by Steve Cropley in Autocar where he drove an M100 Elan to the Jim Clark museum back in the 90's. 👌I saw Jim Clark's Indy car with the yellow exhausts and stripe at the Henry Ford Museum recently, such an impressive machine.

Cup holders, quality fit and finish, excellent headlights...I'm not sure I'm ready for this kind of Lotus. I've had an Elise for 17 years. The only time it has heated seats is when I've eaten a bean burrito.

The older I get the more I imagine myself owning a small fun and light sports car as my final car rather than some high powered beast. To that extent, historically I think Lotus has targeted that segment perfectly and I have no doubt the Emira will be great whether at launch or over a generation or two. Hopefully by then I will be in a financial position to buy one as my final ICE hurrah. Many thanks for this video on what could be my dream car.

I've watched hundreds of car videos, but this was the first ever one to make me tear up as it elicited an intense, perhaps spiritual experience. The landscapes, the music, the poetic writing—they all tap into that innate drive for exploration and oneness with nature, and all through an amazing car!

Thank you so much! I almost died of pneumonia in 1965. My dad brought a Matchbox model of Jim Clark's winning Indy car to the hospital. Thank you Dad, and thank you Jim Clark, both in heaven.

That opening sequence was brilliantly done. That sort of thing takes ages to get Henry’s steps so spot on. Nicely done, chaps.

Best car channel and best car poet on YouTube. With the visuals to match. Pure class with this team once again.

The whole video is amazing but I have to say that the first 1 minute 30 seconds is just pure joy and beauty. Thanks for sharing good sir. Safe driving wishes from Tampa FL.

It's amazing the effect of having cheap and available camera drones has had on the "test drive".
Now it's a panorama of sweeping hills and plunging valleys and of roads, made for drivers, twisting and turning into the distance.
Your videos look beautifully done and are a pleasure to watch.
Thanks for posting, Henry.
