Seeking vengeance when his partner (Simpson) is shot full of holes by drug dealers, Lt. Frank Drebin searches for the Mister Big behind it all. Drebin suspects above-reproach shipping magnate Vincent Ludwig, but he can't prove a thing. Bumped from the force by the mayor, Drebin, with the unexpected assistance of Ludwig's ex-girlfriend, manages to nab the bad guy at a baseball game, where Reggie Jackson has been programmed to assassinate Queen Elizabeth.

I love how the car turns like someone is really driving it. Free wheeling cars don't make proper turns, they either drift or make sudden, jerking that's part of the joke of this scene and it's friggin hilarious.

I’ve watched the first two movies prob 90 times and I still die laughing each time. Everything about this scene is killer funny. The airbags getting so huge they inflate out the windows, to the car turning the corner after hitting the fire hydrant and just exploding like a Ford Pinto.

Coincidentally, the Zucker brothers show a Pinto exploding in “Top Secret”, which came out before “Naked Gun”. That movie is brilliant too. If you love “Naked Gun”, you’d love “Top Secret” and parts of “Kentucky Fried Movie”.
