Leslie was truly one of a kind. I had the pleasure of working with him as an actor in this scene, and he was a joy to behold. I met him a few minutes before the camera rolled, as he stepped up behind me with a playful smile on his face. You could see he was enjoying himself, as he stayed in character the entire time. Of coarse, he was so loveable, as he set the tone for the entire scene. A very talented man.. Hollywood could take a lesson from him..

The funniest part is the guys ostensibly working in the fireworks store all Chinese guys wearing stereotypical Han garb from the 1800s when the Manchus ruled. That's so clever.

There is literally so much to see here in this scene, especially in the series of crashes leading up to the final impact, that I can watch this frame by frame over and over.

For example, the driver of the tracked US Army missile carrier when he notices that he is about to be T-Boned, quickly ducks his head back into the armored cab.

After that impact, I just noticed that the missile itself somehow transfers over and is then being carried by the husk of the original Ford sedan, when it drives into Feldman Fireworks Co. with the bad guy on top.

That initial fireworks building explosion is hilarious all on its own when viewing frame by frame, with a blurred image of a Feldman Fireworks sign making an appearance before the major cataclysmic explosion with funny strands of debris flying by.

Genius.
