It occured to me this morning as I am waking up here in the USA, that the metro system of a nation gives you a good idea of what that nation is all about..Her culture, her people and how they act in an anonymous environment, their economic level, their mood...A lot of things that you can observe. That said, when I saw this video the overwhelming impression is very favorable. Russia is like a Phoenix bird that rose from the ashes of immense tragedy in the 20th century to the great nation that is being reborn now. It is all there in this video to see...

I hope I haven't done anything wrong, but one of my hobbies is to put Russian phrases in Google translator and listen, I like the Russian language, for me it's very pleasant, the Russian accent is very similar to the Portuguese accent. 😊
After watching this magnificent video about the Moscow Metro, I was jealous, at 88 years old Moscow Metro looks better than I do at 72....😭😭😭🤣
You know Marina, I admire Russian Culture a lot, especially the Russian people's dedication for their Culture, these stations are fabulous, authentic palaces, I think that few Metro networks in the World have stations like these, It is commendable that russians did not deny your communist past, it was a time in the long history of the Russian people, I admire for not destroying that part of your history, unlike here in Portugal, which denied itself and spoke ill of the previous regime, as if everything had been bad... regimes do not exist wholly good, nor wholly bad, in the end they somehow reflect the people themselves. 💯💯💯
I also admire the simplicity of the Russian people, I watch a lot of videos about your country, even in the most distant villages, the people seem to be kind and simple.🌹❤
If I had to choose another nationality, I would definitely be Russian, what I would never be was American, German or English, they are not my style, that despite having worked with Germans, English and Americans for about 20 years and with Russians too, they were always the friendliest and simplest.💯❤
Finally, I leave a question, "komsomolskaya", has to do with a Soviet youth organization, I think "komsomol" has to do with this organization.

Since I was a child, your subways have always been the envy of the world, so, you'd think in the 50 years since we would create a similar system? I would love to show you our subways but, we recently received, and are taking seriously, the latest edict which effectively bans any filming on Government property with out a permit. And, quite frankly, if I used the English Language to describe the state of our subways, with descriptions of the 'citizens' who got us here, I would be banned by YouTube.
