worst engagement they could get by charging them in like that and they still made the plaguebearers useless after the battle so that is actually really impressive

So the lesson here is, don't charge the EPB until their at least down to just one volley of their filth bombs.

Not totally surprised, Depth Guard totally shred non-armored infantry, it's just those missiles really put the hurt on them

full looking plate of armor and only gets 90 armor lol. i like depth guard but not worth taking they still lack a state buff or they at least shouldn't take damage from low leadership.

It's always bugged me that units like depth guard that regenerate from hunger skill can do so against demons. The last thing they'd want to do is drink the blood of a plaque bearer. It nearly killed Vlad when he did it at the battle of Altdorf in the lore.
