TB's WTF is Warhammer 40k space marine was my intro into the universe! I've ate it up ever siince

Have been playing only the multiplayer while i waited to play the campaign with friends. Played the first 2 missions last night, and i felt like i was a kid again playing Gears of War and Halo. Had some awesome moments. On the hardest difficulty, everyones at 1 bar of hp, running low on ammo, tons of enemies, i get down. Then my bois picked me up, but they both got knocked down by a dual sword tyranid and some bombers. Now its a 1v1 between me and the dual sword tyranid while i have no ammo. One hit and im dead. Felt a little like Sekrio trying to block and parry perfectly. Eventually, i execute the tyranid and pick up my bois... i love this game

I want to play it but a $90 game for a 7 hour campaign needs to be some of the most incredible gameplay I’ve ever seen. It looks good but it doesn’t look mindblowing.

It's very shallow in its story telling, and doesn’t really capture the grimdark themes of 40k very well. Its fun, it looks good and it captures the aesthetics of 40k very well. But its essentially a playable cinematic trailer for the setting, and forgets to deliver 40k's core message and Themes.

Its a fun romp tho.
