A thousand thanks you my AVG anti virus kept blocking burst but in my case it was because I was updating my unity project to a new version of the unity editor once put in that package link I had to restart the editor and burst download from the bottom right appeared for a few seconds and it all just worked no error the only annoying thing is that i had to do that for another project as well it only works for the current project but that's a very small price to pay then dealing with that error message and AVG going crazy.

Hi. Thanks for your good information. But I still have a issue.
I wrote the link and clicked 'add' button, but I can see only the loading scene ('Please wait, installing a package...'). I waited for it about for 20 mins, but adding the package was not finished. Do you know about the reason?

I have issues with HD rendering package, it complains that my project was using an older verision, and I can seem to fix it . because it crashes because out of memory since it want to reimport all materials.

hey man i am a beginner in unity and this is the error that pops assertion failed on expression 'succeeded(hr)'
should i do your trick to solve it cuz even i clear this from log it gets clear and the red error is gone without using your method, is the problem still inside?
