Years ago, my family had a cat who was five years old at the time our other cat had just died about a month before we got a kitten a friend of my mom‘s knew of this kitten who needed a home so my mom brought her home. She was only a few weeks old and our older cat loved her immediately and it was so sweet even though he was a male cat he was treating her as if she was his kitten, he groomed her every day and taught her how to wash herself he would curl up right around her and let her rest her head on his stomach. He did everything a mama cat would do.
Except nurse of course It was super adorable. I love this video so darn cute.❤

Note for anyone who already has a cat and wants a second, introduce them through a door first. Feed them on opposite sides of thr same door and keep them separate for as long as possible. The longer you can keep them separate, the better they get used to each others scent. You can also help this by giving each cat a blanket or bed and then swapping them after a few days.

Awww, so cute! Fun Fact: Last year, my cat gave birth to two kitties, and one kitten, the first kitty i named her Kitty, the second kitty i named her Lilly, and the kitten i named him Max! And Max looks just like the kitty in this video! I love cats! ❤❤

All she needed to do was consistently love and support stroke and show affection to the larger animal so that the older cat did not feel abandoned or ignored. People have a tendency not to talk to their animals and not to reassure them that is their fault. And they caused much of these issues of dissension between animals that are introduced to new households.
