As teachers, we form opinions of our students’ knowledge and abilities in class and we create activities that will help improve based on those opinions. We can, however, be easily misled by students’ personalities. For example, a shy student with excellent command of English will rarely demonstrate her full capabilities while you are listening.

Data can give teachers real insight into their students' learning that is unclouded by our perception of them as people. The question is where does this data come from? And once we have it, how to we interpret it? This webinar aims to answer both of these questions and, more importantly, to help you make decisions about what to do next.
