Fun fact about the chain chomp: one day when miyamoto was going to nintendo headquarters, he was getting bark by a big dog that has a chain and that give miyamoto a idea of dog enemy and that's how the chain chomp was born.

I don't understand why people would go to the lengths of trying to kill the poor thing. I would have one as a pet, but it would be small. Not to mention it's a bouncing gold nugget. The poor Chain Chomps are only misunderstood creatures. I think I was the only one to free them in Smash Run for the 3DS smash Bros.
