About the movie:

Facing the decline of everything he has worked to obtain, conqueror Napoleon Bonaparte and his army confront the British, led by the Duke of Wellington, at the Battle of Waterloo. A French victory will plunge Europe back into a long term war. An allied victory could bring long term peace to Europe.

This film famously broke records for the budget of a single theatrical release. The film also showcases the most accurate re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo ever produced, featuring 17,000 soldiers from the Soviet Army.

Featuring compelling performances from Rod Steiger and Christopher Plummer, this film lovingly brings to life one of the most important days in modern history and is a must see for any fans of history and imperial war on film.

Lord Uxbridge survived in the end, after the Battle.

Aren't British soldiers known for becoming super calm whenever anything horrible happens?

Is this where Monty Python got inspiration for the British officer losing a leg in meaning of life?

Upstairs in the State Dinning Room is a Portrait of His Majesty King Louis the 18th of France.
