In this 20th video in my Drawing London series, I draw and tell you about the Barbican Centre. The Barbican is an iconic brutalist building in London and a key example of modernist architecture, inspired by Le Corbusier. The building was built 1959-1982 and designed by architects Powell, Chamberlain and Bon. It is Grade II listed.

PENS I USE FOR MY DRAWINGS:

DRAWING LONDON
The Drawing London series derives from my idea to draw iconic buildings around London in postcard-size sketches. This is one of a series of (so far) twenty drawings I have completed - do check out the rest of the series!

I love your videos. I’m about to take a second gap year. Do you think I will feel out of place?
