So excited to run my third NYC Marathon - my first virtual. I just celebrated 21 years since my triple negative breast cancer diagnosis. Running for me is about feeling alive...about overcoming challenges and being a part of a truly special global community. When I was diagnosed, I had my initial surgery at Sloan Kettering and finished my chemotherapy at UCSF. I want to dedicate this year's virtual NYC Marathon to my team of doctors, nurses, hospital staff and to my loving family and friends - I wouldn't be here about to take on my 7th marathon, if it wasn't for all of you! Good luck everyone! Can't wait to run virtually with you all!

This is fantastic! Big thanks to everyone at New York Road Runners who made this possible and to the great coaching staff for the expert help! You've made training for my first marathon way less scary and a lot more fun and the great folks at Honey Stinger and Gatorade have made it even better!
