If you are new to camping and are wondering how to fill the fresh water storage tank on your RV, it is pretty simple.

There is a fill outlet on the exterior of your RV that you can use to fill the fresh water storage tank with your hose. This video will show you what to look for, and what you would need to do.

I am not sure where to send you a message but I have a question I hope you can help . My husband usually tells me Im wrong . But as its our first time with an rv ( which is now stored in the seasonal park ) when it was set up and water connected ...nothing came through the faucets ..I told my husband that their is probably a pump that needs to be turned on and he told me, "NO" as its already connected to the city's water . just curious ....?

OK so you attach the hose but is there a lever you pull down to allow the water to go through? A and if the camp site you're going to provides water how would you go about hooking up to that?

I tried to fill mine with a low pressure water source, and the water just runs back out onto the ground, can this only be filled with a pressurized source?

When filling fresh water tank from empty, does the water pump need to be on while filling? ( not a city water connection ). I have alot of built up pressure as water is jet spraying out of the city water connection even though it's capped off. I'm a first timer, please any help is greatly appreciated. Please be nice lol

Never use a garden hose. Use a white or newer blue RV water hose.

Do some RVs come with water tanks that can only be accessed with a key? I ask because I have this thought of pranksters being able to tamper with it during times when you might be away from the site or sleeping. It's a shame to have to think about this but, alas, this is the world we live in.
