Was getting quite frustrated with this until I realised the potentiometers are crappy. Make sure you are turning the metal and not just the broken plastic caps. I'm using one to pulse drive a DC motor in a tennis ball launcher machine hopper to help with jamming of balls avoidance. I call it the TBLMAJS. The Tennis Ball Launcher Machine Anti Jamming System. Or AJS for short.

I am not sure what I need. I have a float switch to alert me of flood water in the yard. When the float is up, I get continuous power to a siren until the water recedes and the float clicks back off. What do I need to make the siren sound for only 60 seconds and then turn off, say for 24 hours (or even 1 hour)? Could it even reset itself for standby on the next flood?
