How to Make an Epoxy Resin River table with Olive Wood using a HDPE Mold.

Epoxy Resin tables are made much easier using a HDPE reusable Mold. Learn some tricks about finishing the table, filling hard to fill holes and other tips. In this video I'll be using olive wood with black resin.

HDPE plastic molds are the perfect material for non-stick molds used for resin projects. Its non-adhesive quality does away with the need to use any kind of release spray or duct tape. Furthermore, the molds are completely reusable.

I also demonstrate how to clean the HDPE mold.

When you talk about staining the wood at 14:04, isn't the wood covered in epoxy at that point? How are you staining the wood after the epoxy pour over it?

Over time and if the resin/wood top is moved into different climatic and humidity conditions does the wood have movement like it normally does, what happens to the resin and wood bond, do they both hold and move together.

if I may ask you: what silicone do you use to go around the edges? and is that because otherwise it will leak? or why do you do that?

What silicon you used to cover the edges?
I recently bought this mold. I wanna preserve flowers in Resin using this mold. But the inside of mold is quite matt for that, do you also show how to polish a resin piece which has no wood in it.
