What Is The Best Marketplace Crosspath In BTD6?

The question of which marketplace crosspath is best seems to be a never ending debate, and although both crosspaths make the same amount of money and the middle path produces a bit more with a certain Monkey Knowledge, one of them is definitively better than the other and in this video I'll talk about which one is it and why it works like that!

Just to further add to this, even if the discrepancy was a bit bigger between them (depends on how much but still), the 203 would likely still be the better choice because of the early game potential it offers. For example the 200 upgrade doubles the farm’s production from $80 to $160 per round, which is the same as buying a new farm but costs less. Also, not all games can be played in a strict farming manner. Sometimes you gotta farm a bit, then upgrade towers, then upgrade farms a bit, then defend etc., and the 000-200 is always gonna be better at that than going straight for a 003. If you have the money and the MK available, getting a 023/024 straight up is always better (4% better if you’re wondering)

I prefer starting with two 2/0/0 farms upgrading them to 2/0/3 if i choose to go the Market Place Route After that, i make the other farms 0/2/3

Keep in mind that the disparity when saving up usually isn’t actually 13 rounds, since bloon RBE adds on some cash as well, but it gets the general point across

Ok, this finally makes sense in the boss battles strategies. 203 to start with because you get there faster, but later, when you have extra money, 023.

Basically for actual farming get 2-0-0 until you can afford marketplaces and then once all your old farms are marketplaces start getting 0-2-3 farms.

I think the best thing to do is use both. Start with 203's and when they've paid themselves off, sell them for 023's. This way, you can get the marketplaces quicker, while still having the option of the higher income of the 023.

Nicely done! My go-to is three 203 marketplaces and each one after that 023

A really good example of when 0-2-3 is superior:

If you are building Trade Empire with Favored Trades, cash from those towers comes all at once at the ends of rounds. So if you have decent Buccaneer income, you may get enough cash in one round to afford the 0-2-3 Marketplace with no saveup prior.

i usually start with going 020 before going 023 and as soon as money is flowing i build 003->023

Easy answer 2-0-3 if you can’t afford to buy the marketplace right away and 0-2-3 if you can buy all upgrades right away

Start with 4 or 5 200’s before leads come out, then work on getting 203s, then 023s after that

Another question I have been wondering is that is it worth it to buy a 002 village to cut down the T3 farm price. Considering that you can give multiple farms 15% discount and that you can sell the village afterwards, you should save more than what you pay for the discount village. But it also slows down the farming process. If you can make a video about whether it's worth it and if so when is the best time to buy it, it will be really helpful. Keep up the good work!👍

Why the hell would you go straight to 003? That's not what you're supposed to be comparing. The real question should be 200 vs 020, then you turn it into a marketplace.
