Excellent little tutorial. I highly recommend everyone do this several/many times but when you do it, look at the target and get comfortable with what 90 degrees, 45 degrees and others look like. Then when you are comfortable you can do AOB by sight vs using the map tools. If you love pure simulations, remember the map tools were not like this in real world, run the periscope up, give an eyeball AOB and go for it! You can do the same with speed and range to keep the periscope up for mere seconds when you get comfortable with it. Get that feeling of what a real u-boat commander had to do. Well done Lightly!

I really appreciate this video. I'm a new player, and have been really struggling to even find ships to fire at much less getting a good torpedo solution. This is the best AOB video I have found. Maybe eventually I can sink more than 2 ships on a patrol 😅
