This green screen is due to display flex cable problem.
If your phone is old then repair at local store in big cities at minimal cost.

My solution is to setup the Always On Display show the clock whenever I tap. If I only unlock the phone AFTER tapping and activating the clock, then the screen works 100%. But if the screen turns on in any other way (i.e. without activating the Always On Display first), then the problem appears. When the problem is showing up, turning the brightness completely down might help, but a green tint remais.

Never buy a samsung product, they use cheap amoled and the price are way too high.

Baru alamin kejadian serupa hari ini pada S9 saya dan pakai aplikasi Oled Saver cukup membantu namun layar tetap kembali flicker saat dimatikan daya atau saat ada notifikasi wa ketika layar keadaan terkunci. Setelah cari2 info di Google, kemungkinannya bisa jadi yaitu karena update software fitur pegenalan wajah yang bug atau gagal. Setelah saya matikan fitur penganalan kunci wajah di pengaturan, sejauh ini flicker atau kedip-kedip pada layar saya tidak kembali lagi. Semoga bisa menjadi solusi bagi teman-teman yang sedang mengalami hal yang sama.

Steps: Settings -> Biometrics and security -> Intelligent scan -> turn off Intelligent Scan Unlock (please turn off all face unlock features)
