Never watched the British version but absolutely loved the US version. The way they worked in political issues of the time within our community and the need for activism mixed with characters like Justin and Brian…it all just resonated so much more with me than this new version so far.

The same way Gossip Girl, SATC, Charmed and all the reboots tried to be re-capture the magic and they’re just not it. Instead of trying to cash in on that nostalgia they really should just create different shows with their own name and identity.
