My husband was struggling as it was his first time ever having to take a contact lens out. After much frustration we decided to ask you tube and this was our first video, well he got his right one out on the first try and left one out on the third try! Thanks doc, you deserve all the likes that you get for this one!

I was legitimately crying in the bathroom for 10+ minutes terrified that it was permanently stuck. Your video got it out in 2 try’s. Seriously....thank you so much

I just got contacts today and it took me 20+ mins to get one contact out in front of the person who was “training” me. I watched this video and got both of them out in under 30 seconds. The “tweezer/kissing” finger trick is GENIUS. You saved me from weeks of panic attacks, THANK YOU.

This worked wonderfully! After struggling for 30 minutes, I turned to YouTube and this video did the trick. The key takeaways for me were (1) do the SMALL kissing motion with your fingers and (2) keep your fingers dry. I was pinching from outside the contact lens, which was probably picking up moisture and preventing my fingers from sticking to the lens. I guess the silver lining to failing for 30 minutes is that I’m now more comfortable with messing with my eyes haha

I just want to say thank you SO much! Everyone said "just pinch your fingers together", and I'd spend FOREVER trying to make it work, and end up using my nails (accidentally). The way you explained it just made my 10 minute long, painful process into an easy 2 second thing. So THANK YOU!!!

GUYS I GOT IT OUT!! I saw a comment that said that before you pinch the contact out, you should leave your fingers on the contact for 5 seconds so that your fingers will better stick to it. I got it out after a few tries!!

Just started wearing contacts and taking them out has been a huge learning curve. DRY fingers and pinching at the lower third was what worked best for me too! Also, I use drops right before removing
