Hot dogs with Onions in red sauce - NY lunch

Classic NY lunch with hot dogs topped with onions in red sauce! and a potato knish on the side.This tasty dish is a must-try for any hot dog lover.

One tablespoon of vinegar (I used 1/4 cup that was to much)
quarter cup of water
quarter cup of ketchup
2 1/4 teaspoons of granulated garlic
2 1/4 teaspoons of chili powder
a pinch or two of red pepper flakes

Instead of Ketchup try Delmonte tomato sauce. It has to be Delmonte brand.
