Wow Ryan, you are one truly blessed Music Therapist. To hear Brandon sing and see how relaxed and peaceful he seems is such a beautiful thing to witness. God Bless you for helping so many with your talents. Thanks for posting your amazing sessions so we can learn from and share your techniques.

I am a Dental Hygienist. Most about 60% of autistic patients know and respond to classical music. Heavy on strings. I also ask them to ask their bodies for permission to relax their lips so I can clean their teeth. Another yoga strategy. It helps. I am still researching. Ty

Hello Ryan. I'm in my last year of Psychology and just wanted to say it's been my dream to work with music and autism together as one. Your videos inspire me even more to do that. Thank you so much for what you do!

I find ease in watching your videos. There's something about witnessing the therapy process unfold because it's different with just seeing the outcome.

I’m a music therapist and have been since 1996. I like how your client has learned the basics to the songs. I have a difficult time with that because my clients don’t have the desire to learn the words. They’d rather me do it all for them.

Thank you very much for posting this. I love getting a chance to see music therapy in practice, I have had a hard time describing it to people and am glad to have an example to share. I am currently finishing my music performance degree but hope to go into music therapy in the future.

That's a song that is really good for me, too, in these difficult times.
Thank you to both of you!

Hello Ryan,

Love the video, I've been referring to your videos more often as I delve deeper into my counseling and music therapy education. Hope B is doing well, I'm sure he is if you're still working with him. I still find myself singing "Take a Breath" from time to time when I need to reset!

Cheers,

Gabe
