Just watched this and had completely forgotten about the CDx and its number corresponding to the device number. Just swapped all my Scsi devices and couldnt for the life of me work out why the drive stopped working.

A million question! How i can know what device number is my cdrom unit? Its posible to see in any software??

hey dude, tanks for upload!... a question: i become the fail(retrun?)code "10", when I stardet a program from cd. ..can you help me?...PS: i have a amiga 2000 with cd, harddrive from the early 90s...(the software settings an so on, its from this time....(i have no new settings on the computer amigaOs..since 2000 )...sorry for my bad english, i wish you a merry Xmas and a happy new jear 2023...your GreyCapHippie from Chemmitz ;-)

You could take a dremel to the case and cut a small hole for the IDE cable to allow you to close the case completely.
