10 OLDEST Buildings in Prague's Historic City Center

This time we'll look at Prague from a different angle. We'll go discover the 10 oldest buildings you can find in the historic city center of Prague.

There are some buildings that we have purposefully excluded, that are in their core older than some of those mentioned in this video (Church of St. John the Baptist Na Pradle, Church of Our Lady Beneath the Chain, Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary in Strahov Monastery, etc.) The reason for that is that they went through many reconstructions and if we observe strictly just the exterior of the church, it looks like a baroque church.

I just saw this channel for the first time. Loved the video. I live close to Brno, but I moved here from the Liberec area. I will always have special place for Czech Republic in my heart beacuse of my ancestors. Prague is seriously underrated European city, unlike Paris, London or Rome, Prague didn't changed that much over the years, and it's obvious to see in this video. I like how's everything from 1400s considered too new for Prague, its just shows the tradition and history of this city. Also worth mentioning that Prague Castle is world's largest occupied castle, this complex is about same size like 30 White House, which is crazy. When i came here i also liked these medival style underground taverns all over the city. Prague isn't just tourist destination, it's a closest thing to time traveling.

Hills aren't that bad if you've done enough walking around San Francisco. Love going to Chinatown in SF which is built upon the side of a hill or two.
