Marvelous Multiplying Boxes by Matthew Wright

The UK's Matthew Wright has won virtually every award possible in magic, and we're proud of our first collaboration with him, The Marvelous Multiplying Card Box. This routine comes straight from his award winning FISM act.

This is a slick way to begin your act or you can use it before your favorite card routine. It's a visual way to produce four card boxes from your fingertips. The trick is easy to perform, and it's a startling production up close or for parlor performances. The gimmicks can be applied to card manipulation, or simply as a cool and amazing interlude before you begin your favorite card routine.

Matthew includes a number of routines, including a great ending where, after performing the multiplying card box routine, you remove the cards from the box and they jump straight back into the box. Matthew even provides ideas of how to integrate the gimmicks in other routines, such as a Card Under Box routine.

The package comes with everything you need to perform, including our custom production card boxes (made for Bicycle cards), and a complete DVD with Matthew Wright. You also receive six stickers, giving you the flexibility to make red or blue Bicycle gimmicks.

Amazebox by Mark Shortland

Once in a while we come across a trick with a method that is as inspiring and whimsical as the effect it creates. "AmazeBox" is the best example of this that we've ever encountered (think of the wow factor of the best Tenyo items...but this one you can use onstage for hundreds of people). It is simply, elegantly this: a box that switches and forces without you ever touching it. No electronics. In fact, the method is most closely related to origami.

Imagine this: you ask everyone in the audience to write down their favorite song (or first kiss, or three-digit number, or whatever you want) on a slip of paper and drop it into the cardboard box at the foot of the stage. The box never goes out of sight and (truly) nobody touches it. During your show, you invite a spectator to approach the box and open it, then reach inside and remove any slip at random. In the act of opening the box, the spectator unknowingly switches all the audience's papers for an entirely different batch of slips you prepared in advance. Use this to force a favorite song or number or celebrity name. THEN, you can use the information written by the spectators later on in the show.

Mentalists will immediately identify the many, many opportunities this little box affords. It's as light as air, can be decorated or repurposed in any way you like, and is quite possibly the only effect we've produced that is easier than easy. The spectator switches the papers. You don't even touch the box.

We're absolutely thrilled with the ingenuity of this incredible little box, and the way the box is designed and folded makes the switch automatic. It's impossible to fail and, we think, impossible to figure out. The fun, toy factor is undeniable, but true professionals will find this piece invaluable. We are grateful to the creative Mark Shortland for working with Vanishing Inc. Magic on this exciting new release.

Chris you are a really good person and we can always feel it in your videos, but in this very special epsiode you showed once more that you are a special person and stand out from all the people changing their profile pics to show their support, by actually saying what you feel. Thank you very much for that!

I already own the AmazeBox (bought it very quickly after its release), and I *love* it! Sure, I'd love to win another as a backup, but I think someone else could put it to use, too. ;-) So, I'm not commenting to win (this time), but am simply adding further praise for the AmazeBox. It is all kinds of awesome.

I think the best trick is multiplying boxes. Although i reckon that the way for choosing the paper or the bill that the magician want is amazing

Merci d'apporter votre soutien à la France et merci à Chris d'avoir pris le temps de faire son speech une deuxième fois en français. Ça me va droit au coeur.

They both seem awesome, the multiplying boxes look amazing as a closing effect making the metaphor that the magic never end no matters how much you try and the amaze box I see it also as a funny money change where you introduce clearly some papers with numbers and when the spectator opens it finds that the papers has transformed into bills. Even if I don't win, feel free to take this ideas if you are reading this and you find them interesting. (Sorry for my bad English)
