Our drive for space exploration has us reaching further and further in the uncharted every day. But what if a key component for reaching the unknown is revisiting one of earths closest neighbors? Donald R. Pettit, Ph.D., a Silverton, Oregon native, holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Prior to becoming an astronaut, he worked as a staff scientist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico.

genuinely not convinced this is a real human being. He actually speaks and moves like a CGI. Watching it cured me of cancer and I didn't even have cancer when I started watching.

Don Pettit is a genius. Nearly 70 years old, one of NASA's most experienced astronauts, a scientist through and through. And he's heading back to the Space Station in 2024.

So did you manage to find the technology to go back to the moon, or I'll have to wait for the aliens to come and take me there ???

Basically in a nutshell; Helium 3, shortcut for rockets, and good for both tourism and scientific purposes.

Most people wouldn't live on the moon permanently, but the moon will definitely have its usages.

If you used your brain for a "nanosecond", you'd be able to make up your mind. For a long time, the answer to the question " Why don't you go back to the moon?" was : Why go there? We've been there and now our focus is Mars.

“I'd go to the moon in a nanosecond - the problem is that we don't have the technology to do that anymore. We used to, but we destroyed that technology and it's a painful process to build it back again.” Don Pettit

A shame his company lost and/or recorded over the original tapes containing the telemetry flight data ..

Now we know where all the helium is... it's being stored in Dons head

And to think...there are still people out there gullible enough to believe NASA went to the moon
