The fiber optic gigabit Internet connection from Frontier has been installed. Thus far it is operating properly. The upload is substantially faster than the Comcast service and no slow down periods have been experienced during peak usage hours.

My speeds at the moment arr 52 up and 6 down. I can stream 1080p60 video perfectly and sometimes 1440p, but not as well as 1080p. My PC is capable of 4k 60 playback but my internet is not.

nice, I only have bt at about 68 megs down and 18 up. but they are putting in FTTP wires in the road.

Oh yeah that’s so much better! Would certainly be nice to have those speeds.

Now you talk for my part I have 1.5 GBPS 940 MBPS. But I get 1541.21 DL and 1021.82 MBPS UP. Glad you have a nice fiber connection now. You going to enjoy even more your internet and fast YouTube upload too. You know FTTH is like a private connection not impacted by usages of others neighbors but FTTN is impacted so you can get drop and having faster internet in the night but FTTH is consistent.

We have spectrum it went 30 then 60 then 100 now to 300 and we now have 500 down and 20 up also with cable they use docis 3.1 which is not capable of having the same download and upload spectrum is also using a hybrid fiber network so everything on the street is fiber but they split it into coax to your house.

AT&T Fiber is better though. Have had both and AT&T is much more reliable and has much less downtime. Of course this is my experience in the DFW area ymmv. Also, Frontier customer service is still a pain. AT&Ts is better.

Although, still I'd take Frontier Fiber any day over xfinity.

Because of slow speeds, I called canceled, paid them off and set my equipment back per requested to move on. A month later with no notification, They made up a “restocking fee” for equipment, $54 and just sent it to collections. Never received any notice just contacted by collections. Lmao **** you frontier and you’re made up restock fee. You’re a bunch of shysters.
