What temperature should my fridge be & is it auto-defrost?

Its driving me crazy my indesit freezer is over freezing do I turn knob anti clock for cold and clockwise for warm. There are no numbers on knob, but I feel like one

my fridge freezes when it's on number 2 should I put it on 1.5 when I put it in 1.5 it don't freeze at the back of the fridge is it normal for a fridge to freeze at the Back cuz I've only had it for a week

why my frezzer down it will ice and if we put the ice on the top it will melt? why?

I am completely fed up with my Indesit fridge either not keeping things cold or freezing everything solid. This video never showed how to set the temp, how to d-frost or anything useful at all.

OK the fridge should be at least a temperature between 0°C and 5°C but my hotpoint Quadrio refrigerator is show to be 10°C I know it is running hot because when open there is a built in circular spot in the fridge that would change to the colour dark green when the fridge is cooling at the correct temperature. My freezer seens to over freezing because once my meet frozen solid I turn down the freezer to lowest setting just to maintain more like holiday setting since that uses less energy. Somehow it is as if the temperature regulator have been swapped around therefore the fridge believe it is too cold and the freeze helices it is hot there the fridge remain hot and freezer keep going on super freeze when everything in it is already very frozen. At the moment I turn off the setting to off to stop the freezer from constantly running on super freezer but I know the fridge is kit being cool. My butter looks as it is at room temperature and my coconut milk that was frozen in a glass jar is melting. My carrot goes bad, black /spoil quickly too and they are in the fridge.

My Hotpoint fridge freezer is not keeping things cool. I went to thw website and put the model number in and it was not recognised 🙄
