Property on the Italian Riviera can often be very expensive especially when you consider places like Portofino, Le Cinque Terre and to a lesser extent San Remo. However in this video I will show three places on the Ligurian Riviera where it is much more affordable to buy Real Estate.

Anything near the Mediterranean Sea in or near Italy is kinda overvalued. But these places Giorgio mentions are 10x better than coastal cities in Croatia, Greece or Spain.

Thanks for this. I was hoping to move to either Genoa or LA Spezia, so your video was helpful. Maybe u can do some videos on apartments or houses there as u have for other cities in Italy.

Also, I was looking at the weather Temps in these 2 cities while the rest of Italy was well over 35-38C, amd seems like both of the cities don't go over 32C, or maybe only a couple of days. So they seem cooler than other northern Italian cities. Am I correct?

Giorgio, thanks for your informative videos. One of thing i wish you'd address is the crime rate in those markets you view as " undervalued". I wonder whether & how much it is a factor.

Cheap properties in Genoa are mostly in non recommended areas. Could you recommend an y affordable but not dangerous area in Genoa?

Genova has high unemployment and oversupply of properties caused by massive population decline and lack of good job opportunities.

Great video! Just what I was looking for. Now I’m anxious to return to Genoa and look at properties around the region. I’m hoping to find something a bit outside the city as I prefer to have a place to park and less crime. Perhaps something along the train line north of Genoa, Sanremo or Lucca.
