This song... It's exactly how I feel with my mom. She doesn't understand me, chooses to ignore that I have autism (by telling me to not use it as an excuse), etc, so I hide everything within myself, leaving most things Unsaid.

I am now in my “mid 50s”, and I so wish this had come out when I was much younger. I grew up in a culture where it was unspoken. I carried pain for so long it’s worse than a non removable tattoo. I couldn’t make people around me see, what was abusive, there so much weight on tiny shoulders. Thank you for taking the initiative to address these issues. And if you are here, and feel like it’s the end, I can promise you, there will be better days ahead. You are talented, beautiful, and much needed in the universe. I care, and love you.
