Married 34 yrs, then divorce at age 60. No home, few possessions( I left everything I owned except a double bed that was in the guest bedroom). I started over from scratch, and I mean scratch. I was lost completely until that one moment when Idecided to seek out others who were hurting more than I was. I dove in and began my slow transformation. Now, well now at the age of 69, soon to be 70, I am still here, thriving, sharing and still helping others in any way I can and I am carrying much less fear. Cancer levels us, and resets everything.

Just believe. I graduated 4 months before my 60 birthday as a nurse. I will be 61 next month. I evolved as my ex husband took off with a woman abandoning me and our 2kids when I was 50 years old.. I had to evolve to keep my family together. I was not going to victim of his selfish conduct. My kids and I are thriving.

I turn 56 next month. When others complain about getting older I always remind myself that tomorrow is an amazing gift and the best time to start over. I appreciate my years.

I am just turning 51, divorced a while back, still single, an airline Captain. Life is interesting, challenging and beautiful at the same time. I agree 100% with Connie. I am gonna watch this once a week. A good reminder of what is important in life. Thank you.

At 72 I am starting over. Married for 40 years of which I spend 20 as my husbands care giver I am now widowed and trying to discover who I am now. I am not the sort of person to mope about but I feel that after 20 years of never having time to be myself I have forgotten how to put my self first and value myself.

Thank you Connie. I just got home from work and I am exhausted! I work in healthcare which can be physically and emotionally draining. My house is dirty; dishes in the sink, unfolded laundry and 4 other adults in the house. I am 50 years old and perimenopause is being unkind. So, I have had a shower, made myself a tray of food, poured a glass of wine and retreated to my bedroom and watching your soothing video. Tomorrow is new year's eve. The house etc can wait. Thank you from the UK x

I was feeling a little down today, especially since it was so dark and gloomy. I'll be turning 69 next month and sometimes feel invisible, boring, and not the person I was when I was much younger. Your video helped me to see that this is just one of the many stages of life that we undergo. Nothing is permanent--the only thing we can count on is change. We're ever evolving and self actualizing if were mindfully aware and not become stuck in old negative scripts. Thank you for your inspirational words of embracing who we are as we age. Jenny 💜🐺

Such a timely video Connie! I am 63 years old, 6 months a widow after 2.5 years as a caregiver wife. Decluttering and donating all (almost everything, really) that is holding me back from my new life in a new country. Reinvention #4. Thank you ❤️

Unfortunately starting over often requires a sufficient amount of money. I’ve risen from the ashes a few times and I always needed bucks to do it in some way shape or form. At 58, I’m in another scary chapter of my life. Living on SSDI with zero friends and whatever backup resources I have are just about depleted. It’s an empty, pathetic life actually. I could sit on a bridge like you, and I have, the difference being you’re at peace and I’m worrying about how I’m going to make it.
