In BFDIA, so many of the characters are completely narcissistic, or straight up evil. Match became a lot more evil after S1 ended.

I never realized how absolutely terrifying the scene where freesmart crosses the goiky canal is. Those were all people at some point, and their thousands upon millions(?) of bodies lay in the canal forever.

Ok but jokes aside, when you compare to the last season, BFDIA is really, REALLY sinister, like, there are not only much more cruel deaths but there's also this rivalry between the characters and some of the best characters turning into totally hate-material like Pencil, this season is really something else for this series!
