great review, in 2019 the price was pretty high, now in 2021 you'll get a new Vaio SX14 for only around 600-700 dollars..so great deal. buy an additional powerbank and you'll have the right equipment for work!

This laptop is almost great. 6-7h of batteries life, it is WAY to short for business-oriented mobility. When you go out for a day of works, seeing collaborators, customer, you work something like 6-7 hours autonomy to work... and then you have to commute, taking a plane, a train... 2-3 hours of transportation each day. You are still working, typing reports, sending emails, making quotes... You need 10h of battery life, at least. Also the battery life reduce with the age. It means than in 2 years this laptop will have 4-5 hours ... Deal breaker.

As much as I want to love this laptop, I just really struggle to when compared to the Thinkpad P1/X1. Looks like a very solid machine, but the battery life, lack of usb-c thunderbolt and graphics card make this a hard buy. P1/X1 offers these things plus upgradable RAM and 2 full size pci-e slots. You're close Vaio, and have always made really solid machines, but it's just not quite there at this price point.
