I do miss seeing those final spins when Pat would hit a bankrupt, lose a turn or even a prize space and make some funny comment about it.

He said landing on any Prize is considered an Invalid Final Spin (presumably including the Gift Tag / Wild Card)

As of 2021, besides Bankrupt & Lose A Turn, the only wedge on the wheel that would also NOT be valid for a Final Spin is the Million Dollar Wedge (which is only present on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune).

I'm Wheel of Fortune's biggest fan and would love to see more letter turning and also i love the letters J, Q and Z. I would love to see them bring back the first Jackpot wedge from 1996. if i wanted to buy a vowel i would say it like this "I'd like to buy a vowel, an O please?" where did the old puzzle board go and why? thanks so much and i hope to see more Million dollar winners.

Final spin also allows more control for the players for the outcome of the game instead of Pat. ALSO, no "Free Play" on the wheel any more. Like the saying goes "The only thing that is constant is change".

Hmm, if I was doing the final spin and I had a significant lead I’d try to land on a low dollar amount (some people do get the hang of that in just one night) so even if the others got a couple of letters I’d be safe to win.

Another reason to have the contestants do the final spin, is so Pat does not have to walk over to the red podium to do the final spin.
