Xiaomi Mi A1 Review

Still watching this in my Mi A1. I have some small hope that they will release mi A4 that is worth buying.

I've used mostly flagships till now (S3, S4, iPhone 6, iPhone 8 Plus, S9). Due to certain circumstances, I found myself without a phone and just recently bought Mi A1 as a temporary device. Except the camera, this phone has such good performance it made me realize that paying 3-4 times the amount of money for a flagship is not really worth it.

bought this phone on release and only died on my a couple months ago. one of the best purchases i made ever, lasted so long and saw a lot of mileage overtime. very nice.

Ordered Xiaomi Mi A1 for myself a couple days ago to replace the current iPhone 5S I've been using for the last 2+ years.
A bit sad that the camera looks so bad but oh well, I'm not a huge photographer anyways and in every other aspect I feel like I'm receiving an upgrade!

You got it wrong! There is no stereo speakers. Only the bottom speaker is used for multimedia playbacks.

Is it possible that xiaomi can provide OIS, EIS in their next update ? Or, it is just a built in feature of the Camera that cannot be updated further .

I just got my Mi A1 eight days ago and have been witnessing a weird thing about it. When I put my phone on the table or any hard surface (gently) I can hear a rattling noise as if somethng is loose inside my phone. One can hear the same noise comming if I tap the upper part of my phone. Tapping on the lower part doesn't make that noise. The phone's working properly though. I am wondering if I should be visiting the sevice centre or not. I've been through many threads saying that it is the autofocus or few say that it is the OIS(which is not there in MI A1). Please help guys! It's very annoying when you notice it.
