Polework is no joke, it's like gymnastics and calisthenics combined. The amount of control someone needs to be able to not injure themselves alone is daunting. Good stuff Patty.

Most youtubers just go straight to trying out some cute spins, but I love that you showed the pole conditioning side. I recently started pole fitness and it always blows my mind how hardcore it is, especially when you factor in the pain level and how dancers manage to make it look so effortless!

This video definitely gave me a new level of respect for what pole dancers actually do for a living. The amount of core strength, grip strength and coordination that goes into training to be a pole dancer looks insane.

My girl has been poling for about 8 years, and I have gone with her to some of her classes, probably one of the most painful sports I've ever tried, and it's actually very hard.

That looked like fun! I knew the core strength needed is unbelievable, but you both illustrated the understanding (and training to use) of both leverage and body mechanics that really takes it to the higher level. I also appreciate your honest respect for other athletes in all kinds of sports. 🥰

As a poler, I enjoyed watching this. Pole Sport is something that gives me so much joy.
The pain never gets any better, btw... You just get used to it.
Also, you have the perfect body comp to really get far in pole sport. The strength you carry over from weight lifting is very applicable. Some of the strongest people I know are acro's and polers.
