One of the first things I did after randomly playing dead space 2 for the first time was to look up all the suits online. Can't believe its even real that I'm doing it again for the remake.

If you have the infected suit and haven't tried it out, I highly suggest wearing it till you get to your first in-person NPC interaction where Issac speaks with an npc face to face. The infected suit adds a...special feature to such encounters.

Love the detail of Isaac having a suit that shares qualities with the ones the rest of the crew wears but is still different enough to tell that he's wearing a power armor class suit

They did a good job updating the suits while still trying to keep that old gritty feel of some I think.

They really did an excellent job for suits' design. Absolutely love it. Hope to see the remake of 2 and 3... but will EA let this series thrive?

I found the necromorphic version of Isaac's suit a really interesting concept, especially the description that says "When your mission is to save the person you love that not even death can stop you".

It's like he's hinting that Isaac died at one point during his mission on the USG-Ishimura and was reanimated by an Infector and turned into a Neromorph (but this transformation caused his body to be fused with his engineer suit). But Isaac's willpower was such that he somehow managed to free himself from the chains of Red Marker's control and the Collective Gnosis and managed to harness his transformation, achieving greater strength, stamina, and longevity, but without losing his intellect and humanity. Thus becoming an independent necromorph that retains his human consciousness and with this "advantage" he opens his way against any threat that comes his way and thus it will be easier for him to fulfill his objective.

That infected suit might be my favorite. It's so disgusting and brutal. Just thinking about being stuck halfway between human and nercomorph with the bits of sharpened bone and your guts hanging out like that. Just gives me chills.

I didn't expect the classic engineer suit to be in the remake. I was expecting that they would add the Advanced Suit, but maybe they're saving that suit for a Dead Space 2 remake. (If that happens)

6:09 I know it looks a little weird, but I like this suit because I just imagine this crazed man killing necormophs his broken mind somehow fighting off the marker but only barley as the ship is endlessly floating through space.

On the lone survivor suit you can see on the top of the head of the necromorph hanging from your waist that there’s a tic tac toe game. Attention to detail is crazy

As much as I love the attention to detail in these suits, I have to say that I much prefer the suit change sequences in dead space 2. Just feels more natural with Issac taking a moment to adjust to the fit and feel of the armour each time, pushing around the plates to get them to sit just right.

Love this game the remake was even better but I wish the kept the helmet animation when you walk out of the pod. It was one of the games features that made me fall in love with it.

Glad to see the New Game + White suit made it into the remake. My favorite from the first game, I was sad when it didn't show up in Dead Space 2.
